Science Matters Chapter 14

The two things that I found interesting were how water is never destroyed and always will be on the earth, and what it said about how some planets can not have water because they are to small, it helped me understand why some planets didn’t have water.

The two things that I would like to know more about was the piece about the different pieces of rock in sand, I think it would be fun to look at the sand in a microscope and track where exactly each piece came from and what kind of rock it is. I also would like to learn more about the weather technology they have.

Science Matters Chapter 13

The,two things that I found interesting was how it explained that the strength of the tsunami in the Indian Ocean was more powerful than a thousand nuclear bombs and the information on unstable magnetic poles and how the North Pole shifts.

The two things that I would like to learn more about are metallogeny and how it works more and how mountains are formed.

Science Matters Chapter 11

The two things that stood out to me were how you can tell the expansion of the universe because of sound waves and the information on the first elements. I thought that these were interesting because it was interesting to learn about many different ways to tell that the universe is moving apart and because it is interesting to learn what elements have existed longest.

The two things that I would like to learn more about are the things about dark energy and how they found out about universal freezing.

Science Matters Chapter 6

The two things that I found interesting were the things about metallic bonds, because I had never learned about those before, and what pyrite was made of, I had always wondered what made it look so much like gold.

The two things that caught my eye were the things about insulators and conductors because I thought it was interesting how they explained what types of elements were good at those.
